Sun City Bicycle Routes
Sun City Cycling Club has taken the initiative to develop and mark bicycle ride loops within Sun City for everyone’s enjoyment. There are three loops, a Southern Loop, a Central Loop, and a Northern Loop. There are marked connectors to show you how to move from one loop to the other. Each loop is marked with a colored Dan Henrys (Sample Dan Henry at bottom, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Henry) and the connectors are marked in white. Below is a brief description and details about each.
Enjoy the ride and be safe. Please obey all traffic laws, wear a helmet and ride on the correct (right side) of the streets.

9.9 miles staying south of Grand Avenue. Marked with Yellow Dan Henrys. Starts at the Sun City Oakmont Recreation Center parking lot and goes west on Oakmont Drive. This route features several interesting attractions: The Sun City Museum is on the left at 0.1 miles, an interesting place to visit. Later you will go by the Playground of Childhood Memories, followed shortly by the Rattlesnake and Horse statue. Later you will see the Rope Them Cowboy statue and the Hitching Post statue. Just before the finish you will pass the New York West Pastry and Bake Shop, voted best in the Valley. Time for a well deserved sweet.

10.1 miles staying north of Grand Avenue and South of Bell Road. Marked with Green Dan Henrys. Starts at the Sun City Bell Recreation Center from the south east parking lot on the corner of Hutton and 99th Avenue. Exit the parking lot at the east most exit and go west on Hutton Drive. This is a straightforward route to see Sun City.

10.3 miles staying north of Bell Road and South of Beardsley. Marked with Orange Dan Henrys. Starts at the Sun City Mariette Recreation Center. Start by taking the sidewalk from the north edge of the parking lot toward Aztec Dr and go East This is a straightforward route to see Sun City.
